Introducing Skyline XT™: Thin-Wall Performance for Radial Access
Tualatin, OR — October 7, 2026 — TZ Medical is pleased to announce the launch of the Skyline XT™ Radial Sheath, the newest addition to our growing portfolio of radial access solutions.
Designed with thin-wall construction, Skyline XT offers an approximately 50% reduction in wall thickness compared with traditional sheaths, providing a smaller outer diameter while maintaining the desired French size. The result is a better sheath-to-artery ratio designed to support improved deliverability, reduced vascular irritation, and a lower likelihood of radial artery occlusion (RAO).
More Lumen. Less Sheath.
In radial access, small differences can matter.
Skyline XT's thin-wall construction is designed to minimize the sheath's outer profile while maintaining the internal lumen needed for the procedure. Compared with traditional introducer sheaths, Skyline XT reduces wall thickness by approximately 50%.
That smaller outer diameter supports a better sheath-to-artery ratio while giving clinicians the access they need.

Designed for Deliverability and Comfort
Thin-wall construction is only part of the Skyline XT design.
The sheath incorporates a patented hydrophilic coating for low-friction insertion, along with smooth transitions from wire to dilator to sheath. Skyline XT also features an easy, quick-connect dilator-to-sheath hub. Together, these features are designed to improve sheath deliverability, minimize vascular trauma, and support patient comfort.
Skyline XT features include:
- Approximately 50% reduction in wall thickness compared with traditional sheaths
- Better sheath-to-artery ratio
- Patented hydrophilic coating
- Smooth wire-to-dilator and dilator-to-sheath transitions
- Easy, quick-connect dilator-to-sheath hub
- 5F and 6F configurations
